  • Enhanced security: advanced security features to protect your data and privacy.
  • New features: access to new tools and functionalities designed to improve your work experience.

  • Updated applications.

When will my device be upgraded?

Your local IT team will give you advance warning before you need to upgrade your device. You can upgrade at a time convenient to you over a period of several days.

What do I need to do?

The Windows 11 feature update will install automatically but you can choose when to apply it. If you do not install it after a week, it will force your computer to restart and apply the upgrade automatically.

To get Windows 11 sooner, open Windows Update settings and select ‘Check for updates’. If your device is eligible and ready to run the newest version of Windows, select ‘Download and install’.

How long does it take to upgrade?

Times may vary but please allow 20 mins for Windows 11 to install when restarting your device.
