What is Moodle?

Moodle is the University's Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). It supports teaching with a range of online tools and a place to upload course materials. 

Who can use Moodle

Moodle is available to all University of Cambridge staff and students. To log in, you need a CRSid and University IT account password.

How to access Moodle

Log in to Moodle

System maintenance, when needed will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 07:00 to 09:00. During this time, you may have difficulty logging in or experience slower system performance.

Support

Email the Moodle Helpdesk, moodlehelp@uis.cam.ac.uk to request support or log a request via the Halo ITSM tool. 

The Moodle Helpdesk is available 09:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday except for UK bank holidays and University closures. 

There is also an A-Z of Help topics available in Moodle. 

Training 

We provide Moodle training for those creating or maintaining Moodle courses. Courses are available to book on the University Training Booking System.

We can also offer bespoke training resource permitting. Contact the Moodle Helpdesk, moodlehelp@uis.cam.ac.uk to discuss your requirements.
