The UIS network team has experience in many aspects of data networking and related technologies. As well as providing UIS services, we are also able to provide help, advice and consultancy in areas such as:

  • Planning network deployment in new buildings
  • Physical installation of network infrastructure
  • Suppliers, purchasing, equipment recommendations
  • Network configuration and design
  • Security
  • Policies and conditions of use
  • City-wide infrastructure
  • Specialist wireless deployments

We're always happy to provide free advice, but if you have a large requirement, we can provide consultancy or undertake projects. If you or your institution has a requirement, or an idea, for something we don't currently offer please contact us – we develop new services based on customer requirements.
