'Raven' is the University-wide authentication service provided by the computing service. It provides a common way for people to log in to the University's online services, and to some of the additional resources that their College or Institution has given them private access to:

How do I get a password for Raven?

Current members of the University and affiliated institutions are provided with a password for the Raven authentication system as part of their computing service account when they arrive. Exceptional cases may download the application form here, and apply by post.

How do I change my UIS Password (for Raven, Exchange Online, Hermes and MCS Desktop Services)?

The Password Management application lets you change your UIS Password (used for Raven, Exchange Online and other Microsoft services, Hermes, MCS Desktop Services and Employee Self-Service, amongst other things). You can also view your change history log, and control who can reset your password for you if you forget it.

UIS is enrolling all members of the University in our Google G Suite account, known as G Suite@Cambridge, on 2 May.

Moodle Summer Upgrade 2019

Moodle, the University's centrally supported virtual learning environment, will be upgraded from version 3.4 to 3.5 on Tuesday 23 July 2019 between 07:00 and 12:00 noon. The upgrade will introduce security updates, bug fixes and some new features.
