Install the Fully Kiosk browser software on your ProDVX tablet

The Fully Kiosk browser software requires a chargeable licence.

The Fully Kiosk Browser allows you to:

• lock the tablet with a PIN so that it can only be used for checking-in to rooms – users can't change the configuration
• specify the room or resource web page in Booker as the default start-up screen  

Required for installation:

1. ProDVX APPC-10SLBN Tablet
2. Fully Kiosk Browser installation file (Fully-Kiosk-Browser-v.1.54.apk) saved on a FAT32 formatted USB thumb drive
3. Download the latest Fully Kiosk Browser installation file

How to install the Fully Kiosk Browser

1. Turn on your ProDVX Android Device and connect to the internet via an ethernet cable. 
    
2. Insert the USB thumb drive into the USB port

3.  Select the circle in the middle of the screen to go to the main menu. 

   
    

4. Select 'ApkInstaller'.

5. Select 'Install'.

    

   

    

6. Select 'USB Memory'

   

    

7. Select 'Fully-Kiosk-Browser-v.1.54.apk'

8. Select 'Install'

9. On the new pop-up, slide the toggle below 'ApkInstaller' so that 'Allow from this source' is switched on. 

   
    

10. You might see 2 additional pop-up screens.  Select 'OK' if you're asked to grant access to 'READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE_WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE'.  Select 'Allow' to the ApkInstaller media access request. 

    

     

11. Once confirmed the install should begin. You will see a confirmation screen. Tap 'Open' to launch the app.

12.  Follow the set-up instructions to configure the display on your Room Tablet.
