Research administration
UIS works closely with the Research Office in maintaining and developing the systems that ensure the smooth running of the University's research administration.
Research computing services
Research Computing Services (RCS) designs and maintain some of the world’s fastest compute and storage systems for the benefit of our University’s students and researchers, as well as industry and the wider research community. RCS is also home to a team of research software engineers, whose focus is on collaborating with researchers across the University to improve the quality and sustainability of research software.
Human Tissue Tracker
The University's Human Tissue Tracker is a web application and data store to assist the process of recording and tracking human tissue samples. The tool is born out of the need to comply with the UK's Human Tissue Act 2004. It can be used by any registered lab or institution in the University.
