Accessing your Cambridge (@cam) email

You can sign in to your @cam email address after you complete your student registration and collect your University IT account. You will get a Microsoft Exchange Online email account with a 100GB quota.  

Your Cambridge email address 

Your email address will be CRSid@cam.ac.uk. 

You have a Microsoft Exchange Online email account. Some Colleges and Departments send emails before the start of term. Please check your @cam email regularly.  

Sign in to Outlook with your [CRSid]@cam.ac.uk email address and University IT account password.

Set up multi-factor authentication 

When you sign in to your Microsoft Exchange Online account for the first time, you must set up your second factors for authentication. 

You will need to download the Microsoft Authenticator app on your phone or tablet. Then, set up call or text verification with a phone number. 

After changing your University password for the first time, it may take up to 30 minutes before you can access your Exchange Online email.
