The Roger Needham Building is closed to visitors.

We are unable to accommodate visitors due to Covid-19 safety guidelines. However, our Reception and Service Desk teams are still available via email during the hours listed below.

IT support service desks

The UIS Service Desk team is continuing to prioritise enquiries in order of urgency during this difficult and busy time. 

If you need to follow up on an enquiry, please respond to the email you received when you initially contacted us rather than sending a new message. The latter would generate a new ticket, which slows down response times for you and other users.

You can also log in to the Self-Service Portal to view all of your tickets, raise a new enquiry or search the Knowledge Base for help with common issues.

Obsolete media formats will be removed from the Streaming Media Service on 24 June

We need to delete old , unsupported media file s from the University’s Streaming Media Service (SMS ) because the system is approaching its max i m um stor a ge capacity . The o riginal high -quality ‘master’ copies will be retained. D eleting old files will allow adequate space for users to add new uploads and ensure the service continues to run smoothly.
