The Password management app lets you change your University account password.

If you have a temporary password, you should change it. You should also change your password if you think someone else knows what it is.

How to change your password

  1. Go to the Password management app.

  2. Select ‘Log in using Raven’. If you’ve forgotten your password, you can reset your password.

  3. Select ‘Change password’.

  4. Enter your current password.

  5. Enter a new password.

    We recommend that you use the built-in password generator tool. Select the ‘Generate a random password’ link below the new password field.  

    You can copy and paste the suggested password into the new password field. 

    The strength of your new password will be shown as you type. We recommend using a password with a rating of 'Very strong'.

  6. Enter your new password again in the ‘Confirm password’ field. 

  7. Select the ‘Change password’ button to save it.

    It may take a couple of minutes for your password to update across all University systems. It can take up to 30 minutes for your password to update if it's the first time you've changed it.  

  8. You will need to sign back into Outlook, Teams and OneDrive with the new password following this change.
