Configuring an Institutional Server

The common Unix NTP client software (either the Official Reference Implementation or chrony) also supports acting as a server. In general, we recommend configuring institutional servers like normal clients. If you are configuring multiple servers, it may be worth having each one use a different subset of the UIS's servers so that a single bad server can't disrupt all of them.
