Link an incident to an existing problem

  1. Open the required incident.

  2. Select the 'Problem' tab.

     

  3. Select the 'Link' icon

     

     

  4. Select the correct problem from list or use custom search so that it is highlighted.

  5. Choose 'Select'.

  6. Select 'Save'.

 

Remove an incident from an existing problem

You will need to be logged in with the role Service Desk Analyst to complete this task. 

  1. Select the desired problem from the Problem module.

  2. Select the 'Incident'.

  3. Select the desired Incident to highlight it.

  4. Select 'Unlink'.

     

     

  5. Select 'Save'.
