University Information Services

The Digital Presence team have released interim guidance as part of the programme to improve the University’s websites and digital content to match our global reputation.

Targeted towards content owners, editors and administrators the guidance identifies the first steps needed to prepare information and content ahead of the migration to new templates with links to recommended courses to build on digital skills:

  • using Microsoft Office 365
  • SharePoint online
  • Google Workspace for education
  • auditing website and intranet content
  • audit and tidy your other information
  • archiving
  • known issues and future development

The guidance focusses on the importance of reviewing and improving existing content and should be read alongside the style guide released in April 2022.
