On the device sign on screen do you see "internal" listed in the domain field?
To check this, press “Control”, “Alt” and “Delete” at the same time. Choose "Change a password". You will see "Internal" listed in the domain field if your device is an Administrative Computing Network (ACN) Desktop device. UIS manages these devices. Select "Cancel" to return to the home screen.
-
If you don't see "internal" listed in the domain field, Select the Start Menu. Enter "View your PC name" in the search bar.
-
Open "View your PC name".
-
If the 'Device name' starts with 'UMD', it is a University Managed Desktop (UMD) device. UIS manages these devices.
If your device name does not start with UMD, it is not managed by UIS.
