Dropbox Business

Dropbox Business is a secure, cloud-based file sharing and storage service.

Access your files from your computer, your mobile devices and the web, and it's easy to share your files securely with others, whether or not they use Dropbox.

With us, you'll get a substantial discount on consumer prices, and a pro-rata refund from Dropbox if you're an existing user. 

Only addresses can be used, not those associated with other Cambridge subdomains.

Your account will only work whilst you're a member of the University.

We only provide refunds for cancellations of Dropbox Business at the University during the first month.

Dropbox Business does not support the Camera Roll feature.

What it costs

Staff who choose to purchase their own Dropbox Business account with a personal debit or credit card will have to pay VAT. However, purchases made by a Department for its staff via a purchase order will not be subject to VAT.

(no VAT applicable)
Colleges and some non-University institutions

(inclusive of VAT)

How to get it

You can buy and start using your University Dropbox Business account now by going to the UIS Self-Service Gateway. We accept payment online by:

  1. personal credit/debit cards, or
  2. approved Departmental purchase order PDFs

If you pay via purchase order please create your purchase order with Information Services as the supplier:

You can also buy University Dropbox Business accounts for others, using approved Departmental purchase order PDFs. (The accounts you pay for will be listed on your UIS Self-Service Gateway account page).
