When I swipe my card, I get the message "Invalid card, please try again"
Only the most recent, activated card issued by the Card Office is supported. If you are unsure of the status of your card, you should contact your local card representative. They will be able to check you are using the right card by checking the version number on the back of the card against their records. You will not be able to use temporary or access-only cards to release your print jobs.
Print Deploy client can't find its servers
Error message
If you see the following error message:
Well this is awkward The Print Deploy client can’t find its servers!
This is because the computer is unable to resolve University network addresses
Solution
1. Ensure the computer is connected to the University Network
2. Check and if installed, disable the following third-party services:
- DNS such as openDNS, Google and Cloudflare
- VPN such as NordVPN, Surfshark and ProtonVPN
