Mobility Print for Apple iOS

End user instructions to install Mobility Print for Apple iOS (iPhone and iPad)

The above video gives general instructions to provide familiarisation of the process required to print, specific instructions can be found below.

Prerequisites

  • Mobile device for Apple iPhone or iPad iOS (9.2 or later)
  • Desktop Services account for authentication 
  • eduroam or UniOfCam wireless network connection 
  • Common Balance credit (Local Balance credit isn't supported by Mobility Print, for Local Balance, DS-Print for desktops and laptops should be used)

How To Print
Important: Make sure your iPhone or iPad is connected to either eduroam or UniOfCam wireless network.

  1. Open the app that you want to print from.
  2. To find the print option, tap the app’s share icon or menu.
  3. Tap Print. If you can’t find the print option, check the app’s User Guide or Help section. Not all apps support print.
  4. Tap Select Printer and choose DS-Print_FindMe
  5. Choose the number of copies, colour or other options, like which pages you want to print.
  6. Tap Print in the upper-right corner.
  7. When prompted enter your CRSid and University password.
  8. At any supported MFD login to release your print job.

Delays in email delivery between PPSW and Exchange Online tenancies

Several institutions reported to us that messages to their Exchange Online tenancies were being blocked following routine maintenance to the central email switch (PPSW) on Monday 20 January. We believe we've discovered the cause and implemented a workaround that has cleared the backlog and will prevent this from happening again.

Phone system maintenance on Saturday 1 February

We're planning to update the University phone system on Saturday 1 February. Desk phones may reboot several times during this process, but there should be no effect on calls.
