During a Teams call, you can take many actions. Here are a few common actions you might take:

Hold/resume

  1. Select More actions (...)  
  2. Select Hold
  3. Everyone in the call will be notified that they've been put on hold
  4. Continue your call by clicking Resume

Transfer

  1. Select More actions (...)
  2. Select Transfer  
  3. Start typing the name of the person you want to transfer the call to
  4. Select their name from the auto-suggestions 
  5. Select Transfer

Consult, then transfer 

If you want to check in with someone before you transfer a call to them:

  1. Select More actions (...)
  2. Select Consult then transfer
  3. Under Choose a person to consult, start typing the name of the person you want to consult
  4. Select them from the auto-suggestions.
  5. You can call them or consult with them over chat
  6. When you're ready, select Transfer.
