The tables on this page describe the current support status of specific Operating System versions on IaaS

Explanation of support status

Current

Currently supported Operating System for running on Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), and provided for deployment.

Deprecated

You may run the Operating System on IaaS, but there will not be a deployment option.  UIS advise that you upgrade the Operating System or replace the server with a newer build.

Unsupported

Operating system versions not supported by UIS are typically more vulnerable to security risks and you will not be able to deploy them.  UIS will not support you running these Operating Systems on IaaS.

Operating Systems

Only LTSC (Long Term Support Contract) versions of Windows are supported on IaaS.
