University Information Services

On 28 September, we withdrew eCredit for DS-Print whilst we investigated reports of users being unable to access the eCredit web portal to purchase Common Balance print credit.

As a temporary measure, while a fix is implemented for eCredit in order to resolve these issues, we have enabled all users with a £20 overdraft on their Common Balance with immediate effect. This is to ensure all users can continue to print and photocopy.

Users with existing Common Balance credit will continue to spend against that credit before entering this new overdraft.

Once a fix has been implemented to eCredit, the overdraft will be disabled and users who have spent into the overdraft will have to pay this back before they will be able to print and photocopy again.

Users can monitor their Common Balance at https://www.ds.cam.ac.uk/mydsprint/

If you have any queries, please contact ds-print@uis.cam.ac.uk
