Further to our communication in May 2024, we will retire the ppsw.cam.ac.uk SMTP relay on 30 June 2025. After this date, you will need to use the SMTP.cam.ac.uk outbound email.
The SMTP relay allows any host on the University Data Network (UDN) to send SMTP email.
Action required before 30 June
If you haven’t already, you will need to reconfigure your server to use the SMTP.cam.ac.uk email relay before PPSW is retired on 30 June.

IT staff can use https://canvas.srv.uis.cam.ac.uk/ppsw/ to view systems that are sending email via PPSW.
Institutions that run their own email service will need to send their outbound email direct once ppsw.cam.ac.uk is retired.
