We will be applying essential upgrades to the shared network drives on Friday 26 July and Saturday 27 July, between 9am and 5pm.  

This work has been carefully scheduled after the exam period, to complete over the weekend, to minimise disruption.

How this could affect you

Only the mapped network drives, such as the K, R and Z drives will be affected:

  • Friday, 26 July: you should not be affected at all.
  • Saturday, 27 July: you will not be able to access your shared drives from 9am until 5pm.
  • Your files and data will not be affected.

Change to outbound SMTP email relay 30 June

We will retire the ppsw.cam.ac.uk SMTP relay on 30 June 2025. After this date, you will need to use the SMTP.cam.ac.uk outbound email.
