Mac users of Panopto's Desktop Recorder for Mac will need to upgrade to version 13.0.0 by 9am on 20 July 2023 to continue to record and upload to Panopto.
Panopto for Mac version 13.0.0 will require an Operating System (OS) of at least macOS.11. Users unable to update to macOS.11 can make recordings using Panopto Capture.
Panopto will continue to support Panopto for Windows and Remote Recorder version 12.0 until July 2024.
How to upgrade your Panopto app Mac
Users will be prompted to upgrade to Panopto version 13.0 when they launch their Panopto software. Users should:
- select ‘Download update’ when prompted or
- follow the instructions to manually update the software.
