Registering as a data supplier

In order to register incoming staff and students, it is necessary to register as a data supplier for the institution.

In the case of University institutions, data suppliers must be members of the Lookup editor's group in the University directory.

In the case of non-University institutions (including the MRC), it is necessary to be registered with the UIS as a data supplier for the specific institution. Requests to be authorised as a data supplier for a non-University institution shoud be sent by email to .

IT staff in any institution that takes part in this scheme will normally need to be registered as a data supplier (by the appropriate route) and it is likely that they will want to check recent registrations to find CRSids. All those who are registered can see recent registrations for their institution.
