All undergraduates and UAS Staff, and most postgraduate students are issued with UIS computing accounts before or when they first arrive in Cambridge, and there is no need to apply specially. Undergraduate and postgraduate email accounts are provided on the UIS email system, Hermes; UAS staff accounts are on the Administrative Computing Network (ACN). Undergraduates retain their account for the whole of their undergraduate career, and for any subsequent course of study or employment at the University.
