University Information Services

We're providing a temporary IT help desk for staff and students requiring IT assistance during Freshers' week and the start of term at the New Museums Site.

All new staff and students are welcome to visit the University Information Services (UIS) pop-up IT help desk, which can be found at:

Level 2 of the Cockcroft Building
New Museums Site
Pembroke Street

The help desk will be available on a temporary basis on the following days:

  • Monday 23 September to Friday 27 September, 10:00–17:00
  • Monday 30 September to Friday 4 October, 10:00–17:00
  • Saturday 5 October and Sunday 6 October, 11:00–16:00

We'll be offering support with:

  • Getting started with your email account and setting up your email account on multiple devices
  • Connecting your devices to the University/College Wi-Fi (eduroam)
  • Staying safe online and free antivirus software

Moodle offline for upgrade during 06:00–12:00 on Tuesday 11 January
