Update your eduroam Wi-Fi setup

You need to update your eduroam on all of your devices to stay connected after 10 January.

The eduroam Wi-Fi security certificate was replaced at 08:00 on Thursday 10 January. All Cambridge users will need to update their eduroam set-up on all of their devices to stay connected to the service after the certificate update.

You can do this any time after the certificate change – even while you're away from Cambridge.

If you are a non-Cambridge user or visitor, you will not be affected by this change and don't need to take any action.

How to update your device

To update your device, simply run through the usual set-up process:

1 Make sure you're online – for example, via UniOfCam or a wired connection.
2 Collect your network access token from the UIS Tokens page.
3 Follow the instructions for your operating system:

Desktops and laptops

Linux Mac OS X Windows
Linux macOS Windows

Phones and tablets

Android Mac OS X Windows
Android iOS Windows Phone
