On every basic web page, you can include up to 12 text cards in the Main Content section. Use these to link to other relevant pages.
See examples of all the available content types and components on the Cambridge Web Platform showcase site.
Tips for using correctly
- add links that relate to each other or have the same topic
- follow our content standards and use the style guide when writing or editing text
- keep it simple, use plain English, don’t use acronyms, jargon or Cambridge-only terminology
- link to important web pages or forms
- link to other websites only if you are certain information is up to date and trustworthy
- start links with a verb, for example ‘find, apply, read, tell, meet, see, view, and so on
- do not use ‘click here’ or ‘more’ as links
How to add text cards to the page
1. Go to the relevant page and click "Edit". Scroll down to the Main Content section, then click the "+Add" button underneath. Select the "Text cards" icon.
2. Every card needs a heading, a URL, and an optional description.
3. To add the second card, select "Add Text card". You can add up to 12 text cards.
4. For every card, you will need to add a heading, link and optional description. When you have finished adding all the text cards, select "Save"
5. The Text cards will appear on the page. The layout adapts to the number of text cards, displaying them in either 2 or 3 columns.
