How to access recordings

There are three ways you can access recordings that have been made:

  • through Moodle
  • directly through Panopto in a browser
  • using the ipad, iphone or android app

 

Viewing through Moodle

Your Moodle course may have added a direct link to the recordings that you access through the course. Simply login to Moodle and access the Panopto block from the right-hand side of your screen.

 

Viewing through Panopto

Panopto logoIn your browser, navigate to the Cambridge Panopto site. Select CambridgeMoodle and click on 'Sign in'.  You will be prompted to enter your Raven credentials.

Once you've logged in, double-click on the video you want to view. Panopto offers a short introductory video on how to use the application in the browser.

 

Viewing through the app

The Panopto app is available in the iTunes store and Google Play.  

Once installed, you will need to login using CambridgeMoodle with your Raven credentials. You can then watch videos in the customised viewer.

Note that in 2019-20, lecture capture is still only available to a limited number of courses participating in the pilot.

Delays in email delivery between PPSW and Exchange Online tenancies

Several institutions reported to us that messages to their Exchange Online tenancies were being blocked following routine maintenance to the central email switch (PPSW) on Monday 20 January. We believe we've discovered the cause and implemented a workaround that has cleared the backlog and will prevent this from happening again.

Phone system maintenance on Saturday 1 February

We're planning to update the University phone system on Saturday 1 February. Desk phones may reboot several times during this process, but there should be no effect on calls.
