1. Have you enabled your University Microsoft account yet?
Note: New students can skip to Step 2, but please allow up to 3 hours after creating your UIS Password in order for it to sync with the Microsoft servers so you can log in to the University's Microsoft portal.
If you have not already signed up for your University Microsoft account, you'll need to follow the instructions here (please allow up to 3 hours for this process to take effect before you come back here to set up your OneDrive - University of Cambridge account):
2. First-time users of OneDrive for Business
Before you begin installation, you must provision your Microsoft account ready for use, or you won't be able to sign-in to oneDrive for Business:
- Go to the Office 365 sign-in page and sign in:

Enter your CRSid@cam.ac.uk in the Email address or phone number box and click Sign In:

If you have multiple accounts you will be asked to choose either your 'Work or school account' or your 'Personal account' before you can enter your password. Choose ‘Work or school account’:

You will now be automatically re-directed to the University of Cambridge Active Directory login page.
Enter your UIS Password and click Sign in: -
Following successful authentication, you will be directed to the Office 365 home page. You will need to click on the OneDrive tile to setup your OneDrive space:
3. Now, follow the device-specific instructions for setting up your device:
OneDrive for Business is not supported on Linux systems, but Linux users can access their University OneDrive for Business filestore (and any other available Office applications) using the Office Online suite at https://www.office.com.
