Q: Who is eligible to use LinkedIn Learning?
A: LinkedIn Learning is available for all UIS Staff and University and College IT staff.

Q: Do I need to pay for LinkedIn Learning?
A: No, if you meet the eligibility criteria listed above then access to LinkedIn Learning is free.

Q: How do I access LinkedIn Learning?
A: Follow the instructions on this page to access LinkedIn Learning.

Q: Can I access LinkedIn Learning when I'm away from the University?
A: Yes, LinkedIn Learning can be accessed from anywhere in the world, either on a PC or via the LinkedIn Learning app on your mobile or tablet.

Q: Does LinkedIn Learning provide certified courses?
A: LinkedIn Learning provides a number courses that help you to prepare for a wide range of professional certification exams, but LinkedIn Learning do not provide the exams and can not provide you with the official certification.

Q: My working environment isn't conducive to learning, can you offer me any help with this?
A: UIS Training Services have reserved Ely Training Room 2 in the Roger Needham Building on the first and third Monday of every month, starting from Monday 6th August, especially for UIS staff members to use for accessing LinkedIn Learning in a quieter environment. The Ely Training Rooms can also be used whenever they are not in use for training purposes, and the venue schedule can be checked here (UIS Staff only).

Should you require them, headphones can be loaned to use for this purpose alone. Contact should you wish to borrow some.

Q: I've already paid for a personal account on LinkedIn Learning, what do I do?
A: Once you have activated your corporate LinkedIn Learning account, you can contact LinkedIn Learning to close your personal account and, if eligible, LinkedIn will calculate how much of a refund you will receive.

Q: I'm still having problems, who can I contact for help?

A: The LinkedIn Learning Help Center should have the answers to any questions you may have. If you can't find the answer to your question, use the contact options at the bottom of the page to ask your question to LinkedIn Learning's Support Advisors.
