Staff/Student & Personal Apple Purchases

As a member of the University there are several options for you to purchase Apple products at a discount.

1. Buy through http://www.apple.com/uk/shop/browse/campaigns/education_pricing. However you will only get a one year warranty by default. Alternatively you can find the same offers in store at the Apple Store with proof of University membership.

2. Purchase through the Higher Education Contract. This will also give you a discounted price but includes a 3 year warranty by default (First year Apple warranty then 2 years Reseller warranty).

UIS enrolled all members of the University in our Google G Suite account, known as G Suite@Cambridge, on 2 May.

Upgrade Windows 7 machines before the operating system reaches end of life on 14 January 2020

Microsoft will stop supporting Windows 7 on 14 January 2020. The good news is that you may be entitled to a free upgrade to Windows 10, if your institution is participating in the University's EES agreement.
