How can I do spam filtering on my list?

From the Administration page for the list:

  • Select Show advanced settings
  • Select Privacy options then Spam Filters
  • In the Spam Filter Regexp: box enter X-Cam-SpamScore: sssss (or the number of "s" you want).
  • Then choose what Action you would like to take. Discard is likely to be the best setting for "s" settings of 5 and above

This will not solve all spam problems, but should help. You can adjust the spam-score threshold by changing the number of 's's in the Spam Filter Regexp box - a higher number will be less selective and allow more 'suspect' mail through.
