Hermes Webmail - access problems

If you are having access problems with Hermes Webmail, for example:

  • can't log in
  • can log in but can't open messages
  • can open messages but can't reply
  • unable to type in the To: or Subject: field of a new message or the Contacts box

... then clear the cache on the browser that you are using. How to do this depends on your brower, but is generally found under Preferences or Settings. Most browsers have inline help if you require it – search for "clear cache". Alternatively, we have a screencast that covers some popular browsers:

University Wireless Service maintenance 07:00–09:00 Wednesday 20 March

The University Wireless Service (eduroam and UniOfCam) will be subject to interruptions between 07:00 and 09:00 on Wednesday 20 March, while we investigate the problems that occurred during this week’s fail-over test.
