How do I stop my Hermes email going to my Gmail account?

Last updated: August 2013

How you do this depends on how you set it up originally.

If you set import on Gmail

  • Login to your Gmail account
  • Select Accounts and Import
  • Under Check mail using POP3 identify the account and select delete
  • Confirm your action

If you set the redirection on Hermes Webmail

  • Go to Hermes Webmail and log in
  • Select the Settings icon in the Application Bar
  • Select Mail Processing
  • Select Redirect
  • Untick Enable: - it is a good idea to delete the entry in the Redirect address box too.
  • Select Update

Remember to Logout of Hermes Webmail when you have finished.
