How to clear Outlook's Auto-Complete List cache

After you migrate to Exchange Online, your auto-completed email addresses will no longer resolve properly. People won’t get your emails, and you won’t get a message failure alert. To fix this, you need to clear Outlook’s local cache:

1. Open Outlook.

2. From the File menu, select Options.

3. Click the Mail menu item.

4. In the Send messages section, click the Empty Auto-Complete List button:


5. Close the Outlook Options window.

Now, when your recipients email addresses are completed automatically, the address will resolve correctly, and they will get your email.
