Add a calendar in Outlook.com or Outlook on the web

We use our schedules to keep track of more than just our own appointments and plans. We also use them to track school events, team schedules, and other activities. Instead of adding those events yourself, you can add them directly by adding calendars from schools, professional sports teams, TeamSnap, and even television shows to your account.

Tip: Not sure which Outlook you're using? If you sign in with a personal Microsoft account, then you use Outlook.com. If you sign in with a work or school account, then you use Outlook on the web.

Note: The calendars and options that are available will vary based on your location. If the calendar you're looking for isn't available by following the instructions below, see Import or subscribe to a calendar in Outlook.com for help adding other calendars.

After you've added a calendar, you can go to your calendar list and change the color, add a charm, or rename it by using the More More options icon menu next to the calendar.

You can import calendars from websites or calendar programs that support the .ics file format, such as Apple iCal, Google Calendar, and Mozilla Lightning.

You can search the internet for lists of iCals. Websites for theaters, sports teams, and schools often have an "Add to calendar" link that you can use to download an iCal. Bing also has suggestions for calendars.

Note: Microsoft isn't responsible for the accuracy or content of any third-party calendars. We recommend that you review the terms and conditions before importing or subscribing to any third-party calendars.
