Setting-up your G Suite@Cambridge Calendar

How to set up your G Suite@Cambridge calendar.

Accessing the calendar for the first time

To start using your G Suite@Cambridge Calendar you need to use a web browser and follow the steps below. Once you have set up your Calendar you can also choose to synchronise it with other calendars on your own computer or mobile device.

  • Go to the G Suite@Cambridge Calendar page –
  • You will be redirected to a standard Raven login page, offered by Use your CRSid and Raven password to log in.
  • You will then see the Terms & Conditions page – please read them.
If you wish to continue and use G Suite@Cambridge Calendar and select I accept the terms and conditions (note that if you select No, I do not accept the terms and conditions you will not be able to use G Suite@Cambridge Calendar).
  • After you have accepted the Terms & Conditions you will see an email test page. Although you can use G Suite@Cambridge without having a working email address you do need one if you want to receive email generated by G Suite (e.g. calendar reminders). Select OK.
  • After a pause you will see the Calendar page and can start using G Suite@Cambridge Calendar.

To log in to your calendar using a web browser in future you just need to go to the G Suite@Cambridge Calendar page and log in via Raven.

Note: If Google's Terms & Conditions change, you will be advised and asked to confirm that you still agree when you next log in.

University Calendars

A number of University Calendars are available, to which you can subscribe. These include term dates, and calendars for different councils and boards. It is better to subscribe to, rather than import, these as then you will automatically see updates.

If you would like to manage the dates in a central Google calendar then please email to request manager access to it.

Accessing your G Suite@Cambridge Calendar from your own device

If you want to synchronise your G Suite@Cambridge Calendar with a calendar on your own computer (for example Apple's iCal) or mobile device, you will need to set up the connection to Google, which requires your G Suite@Cambridge token.

Methods of synchronising with desktop calendars such as Microsoft Outlook and Apple iCal change frequently with OS upgrades. G Suite@Cambridge is a service under continuous development and changes are deployed frequently - consult Google calendar help (see below).

Help on using G Suite@Cambridge Calendar

The best source of help on using Calendar itself is Google's own Google Calendar Help Center. Google also has a Video overview of Calendar which can guide you through performing specific tasks.
