What do I do if I'm having problems connecting to eduroam from my Mac?

If you have followed the configuration instructions but eduroam is not working correctly:

  1. First, very carefully, follow the uninstallation instructions
  2. Remember to REBOOT your Mac
  3. Then follow the installation instructions for your correct OS X version; the instructions are linked from the eduroam for Cambridge users page.
  4. Please note the following very important points:
    1. Step 2 of the instructions
      • User Name is your eduroam identifier - this is your just your CRSid (e.g. not just xyz1)
      • Password is your eduroam token which should have been previously retrieved from the UIS tokens service. This is a random 16 character alphabetic string which has been created for you.
    2. Steps 3, 4 & 5 of the instructions 
      If you have already accepted the certificate when previously attempting to configure eduroam you will NOT be prompted again, so Steps 3, 4 and 5 of the instructions will not apply.
