Either an institution can purchase vouchers to be redeemed by their students or the student can directly add credit to use the service.

DS-Remote is a service exclusively for the use of students* to aid in access to Windows applications outside of the MCS for use on a device, having installed a remote desktop client.

* - unfortunately due to licensing restrictions, the service is actually only available to non-staff members. Some students who also have a lookup status of staff will need to declare that they have worked 200 hours or less for the University within the last year in order to gain access to the service.

Note: The student must install a remote desktop client on their own device before using this service.

University Wireless Service maintenance 07:00–09:00 Wednesday 20 March

The University Wireless Service (eduroam and UniOfCam) will be subject to interruptions between 07:00 and 09:00 on Wednesday 20 March, while we investigate the problems that occurred during this week’s fail-over test.
