Moving to a different PC

If you plan to move to a different PC or desk, either within your own office or in another UAS department or depatment using the UAS desktop, you need to take into account your software requirements. Does the PC you are moving to have any additional software you require? If not, and you are moving within the same department, you may need your line manager to contact the UAS Service Desk to request that your software is moved to the PC at your new location.

In some circumstances, when you are moving within your department, we may recommend you move your PC, to avoid reinstalling software. If you are not confident doing this please let us know, and we will send out an engineer.

If you are moving to another department, your line manager there may need to purchase additional software for you. This should ideally be done with a couple of weeks notice to ensure everything is in place when you complete the move.
