UAS Print Server Migration

The current UAS Print Server (, is being replaced in February 2020. If you work on a managed UAS computer you will need to migrate to the new print server ( in order to continue printing. 

The role-out is being staged over the next few months. Please make a note of the date after which you can migrate. Failure to migrate, will result in you not being able to print when the old print server has been de-commissioned later in 2020.


Instructions for migrating 

Users in the Student Services Centre and Greenwich House using Find_Me_UAS printing don't need to migrate, as printing is provided on a different print server.

Retirement of UIS Windows Software Update Service (WSUS) on 30 June

We need to accelerate our original plan and fully decommission the Windows Software Update Service (WSUS) server on 30 June, rather than the 1 September, due to security concerns and the need to prioritise our resources to support the University.

The University Card Service will reopen with a limited service on Wednesday 1 July
