Google account registration and login

All University members are automatically enrolled in G Suite@Cambridge.

If you had a personal Google account registered under your @cam email address before enrolment began in May 2019, you'll need to choose a new, non-@cam email address for that account the next time you log in.

Logging in to G Suite

You can access Google G Suite@Cambridge by logging-in to Google using your CRSid@cam.ac.uk email address – for example, abc123@cam.ac.uk. You shouldn't use your personal Google account or a College Google Suite account, such as CRSid@college.cam.ac.uk.

Google login screen

If you aren't logged in already, you'll be redirected to the University's Raven login page. Once you've logged in, you'll find the G Suite apps under the menu in the top left of your browser window:

Accessing Google files sent to you by other University members

If a University member shares a Google file – for example, a Google Doc or Sheet – using their University G Suite@Cambridge account, you'll need to be logged in to your University Google account to access it (see above).

If you're logged in to Google in a personal account or College Google Suite account (that is, CRSid@college.cam.ac.uk), you'll need to switch accounts. Click on your account name at the bottom of the screen:

Google account switch 1

If your CRSid@cam.ac.uk account is listed, then select it and log in with Raven. Otherwise, click 'Use another account' and log in to your CRSid@cam.ac.uk account (see above).
