You may need to update the settings on the email apps you use to access your University email account after multi-factor authentication (MFA) is enabled on your University Microsoft account.
 

Apple Mail and Gmail

You'll need to remove your University email account from the Apple Mail app or the Gmail app and reinstall it to get it working again.

For instructions on how to add and remove email accounts:

Thunderbird

If you already have Thunderbird set up to receive your University email using a basic configuration, all you'll need to do is change the authentication method from 'normal password' to 'OAuth2' on both the incoming and outgoing servers. See example instructions from the University of Wisconsin.

We need to delete old , unsupported media file s from the University’s Streaming Media Service (SMS ) because the system is approaching its max i m um stor a ge capacity . The o riginal high -quality ‘master’ copies will be retained. D eleting old files will allow adequate space for users to add new uploads and ensure the service continues to run smoothly.
