Notice of DS-Web service decommissioning

Following a review of DS-Web’s usage levels over the past year, we’ve determined that it’s no longer practical to develop and maintain this service. We have therefore decided to decommission it on Friday 27 September 2019.

Retirement of the UIS Windows Software Update Service (WSUS) in 2020

UIS has decided to retire its Windows Software Update Service (WSUS) next year. Machines currently configured to receive updates from the UIS WSUS address should have their policies updated to point directly to Microsoft instead.

Adobe Flash Player has reached end-of-life

Adobe has announced that it no longer supports Flash Player and will block Flash content from running in the browser plug-in from Tuesday 12 January 2021.
