At 20:00 yesterday (Thursday 24 January) Microsoft reported that they had resolved the issues that affected the Exchange Online email service for much of the day.
New future for Moodle
Over the next 18 months, we will be making some important changes to the University’s virtual learning environment (VLE), Moodle. These changes are required to meet forthcoming accessibility legislation, improve the user experience and to help the University simplify how it manages data.
UIS Christmas closure: 17:00, 21 Dec 2018 – 08:30, 02 Jan 2019
UIS, including the UIS Service Desk and Reception in the Roger Needham Building will be closed for Christmas and New Year from Friday 21 December at 17:00. We will re-open on Wednesday 02 January 2018 at 08:30. There will be no support service available during the closure.

Lecture capture recordings will be unavailable during the evening of Saturday 15 December because Panopto is undergoing an upgrade.
Wireless Service: major upgrade scheduled for 10–13 December
We’re moving the Wireless Service onto its own routed network to increase wireless controller network speed and capacity. The works are scheduled to take place between Monday 10 December and Thursday 13 December, during which there will be brief periods of unavoidable disruption, which we will endeavour to keep to a minimum.
