Talks.cam will be retired on 1 July 2026. The current website has reached its end of life and is not able to be supported by UIS.
We're piloting EventsAir and considering its suitability as a new event management system for the University. We'll share an update on the pilot in January 2026.
Steps to closure
A detailed timeline will be shared soon, giving users time to familiarise themselves with the new platform before the start of the next academic year.
Talks.cam may be taken offline with little or no notice if an incident occurs before 1 July 2026.
Impact on users
- After 1 July 2026, users will no longer be able to sign in to Talks.cam or use the site to post events or create event lists.
What will happen to the content on Talks.cam
We are working on a process to archive the content and will provide an update when more information is available.
Register your interest in using EventsAir
EventsAir will be rolled out in the coming months. Event organisers who are interested in using the platform should register their interest by completing the Register interest in using EventsAir for Events Management form.
