If you use the University’s eduroam wifi on a Windows, Android or other non-Apple device, please update your wifi set-up by Monday 5 January 2026 to ensure your connection to eduroam continues uninterrupted in the new year.

What to do

Follow the set-up process again for your device:

If you use a Mac, iPhone or iPad, you do not need to do anything.

When to do it

You can do this at any time. If you do it by Monday 5 January, your connection won't be interrupted. You'll still be able to connect through alternatives, such as a wired network or another wifi service, until you update your eduroam settings.

Any questions?

Please contact the UIS Service Desk if you have any questions.
