During this downtime, you won't be able to access recordings and any attempt to upload content will result in a 'Server unable to connect' message.
You can use Panopto's Status Page to check the status of the service. Those who routinely use Panopto may wish to use the 'Subscribe' link on the status page to receive status change notifications by email.
This is Panopto's message regarding the timing of this action:
"We apologize for the unusually short notice for this downtime announcement. This maintenance is being done on an emergency basis in response to the outages on October 5th, to ensure Panopto's EU cloud can scale to meet demand for the remainder of the year."
