Email to Exchange Online received from the outside world is currently being significantly delayed

Due to a widespread issue affecting Microsoft’s infrastructure today, we are noticing a significant delay in delivering email received from outside the Exchange Online (ExOL) system to other ExOL mailboxes.

Outbound email from ExOL is not affected, and email between ExOL mailboxes is being delivered as usual although there may be a multi-minute delay.

We will continue to update the IT Service Status System as further information becomes available from Microsoft.
