University Dropbox Business price increase

last modified Jan 24, 2019 12:12 PM
The cost of a University Dropbox Business account has increased to £75 per year (excluding VAT), but this is still 50% less than consumer prices.

Dropbox announced increases to its service pricing in January 2017, but didn't pass this cost onto us until now. As a result, the cost of a University Dropbox Business account increased from £55 to £75 per year (excluding VAT) on Friday 1 June. This still represents a 50% discount on consumer prices for University staff and students.

UIS currently offers three third-party cloud-based data storage services that you can associate with your @cam email address: Dropbox Business, G Drive and OneDrive for Business. You can find full details and a comparison table on our storage service page.
